Net Zero Carbon

For over 50 years we’ve been leading the industry in terms of sustainable, low energy and low carbon building design. At the heart of our partnership is a desire to tackle the climate and biodiversity emergency our world is facing.

In recent times we have created the Net Zero Carbon Guide to help the industry navigate the process of achieving net zero carbon for both old and new buildings, we led the agenda for Soft Landings and were part of the task group that defined the principles of the UKGBC Zero Carbon Framework.

Our knowledge, experience and research at the forefront of designing net zero carbon buildings enables us to work with our clients and collaborators on the path to net zero carbon. We set out in very clear terms what net zero carbon means for a project and we help navigate the design team through the process to achieve it.

As signatories to World Green Building Council's Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment and the 'Declare' pledges, and as the first UK business to have all their offices achieve Net Zero Carbon in line with the UKGBC's Framework, we are committed to working towards a net zero carbon future.

As part of our commitments, we have undertaken to provide advice on how a net zero carbon building could be achieved, on all of our projects - new build or refurbished - across all sectors, at no additional fee. We can also provide an enhanced offer, that includes a number of additional services, to further help your project achieve net zero carbon for operational and embodied carbon.
